ClinMynEHR is designed to standardize and integrate clinical data from multiple sources, including electronic medical record (EMR) and paper documents. It was initiated as part of a clinical whole-genome sequencing project.
Utilizing ontologies such as LOINC, SNOMED CT and RxNorm facilitates data standards. Centralizing heterogeneous clinical data types provides a complete review of patient history and allows data mining across patients.
Increased data mining, data presentation and data analysis tools will be among the next steps as well as the creation of automated data pipelines from the EMR.
