Ubiquitin proteasome system (UPS) provides signaling pathways with irreversible molecular switches. We aim to identify those during flower development through systematic inventory of the Flower Specific Proteasome System.
The many publicly available bioinformatics databases are a great source for identifying tissue specific molecular networks.
Identification of UPS targets is a challenge. We are currently developing a screening system for this part of the project.
