PhotoResistance is an edu-communication project based on the participation of health professionals of different social organizations, communities and local governments.
The main goal of this initiative was participation and social awareness, since they constitute the essential elements in Public Health. Once again, communities were major stakeholders in the planning, implementation and evaluation of health policies, in close collaboration with health professionals.
We are planning to improve the methodology of PhotoResistance with the help of PAHO Ecuador, and aim to start supporting social mobilization, in order to improve the social determinants of health in our communities with the help of health professionals, health authorities and the communities.
No relevant competing interests disclosed.
