To evaluate the effectiveness of a revised integrated care pathway (ICP) in prompting care compliant with EBM guidance for fractured neck of femur (NOF) patients.
The revised ICP promotes an effective, efficient and evidence-based service for fractured NOF patients.
To further update and improve the quality and effectiveness of the ICP as a clinical tool for translating evidence into practice:
- active implementation strategies e.g. educational sessions
- continuing cycles of audits are essential
