Overview

F1000 is a database of expert evaluations of published articles. Like PubMed, you can search by keywords, and you can also browse the entire archive, or just the disciplines and specialties that interest you. New evaluations are added to the site daily.

Each evaluated article record contains any evaluations and dissents made by the F1000 Faculty, along with the classifications relevant to that article - some denote the type of article (eg Clinical Trial) and some denote the opinion of the evaluating Faculty Member (eg Controversial), plus the scores awarded during each evaluation. Read more about the service here.

On each evaluated article page, there are options to export to online and local reference managers, and social media sites.

To make the best use of the site, as a subscriber you will need to be registered and signed in. You can then explore the Evaluations and Rankings pages, and experiment with MyF1000. Once you’ve registered, you will also be able to nominate articles for evaluation and to leave User comments.

If your article has been evaluated in F1000 it means it has been recognized by your peers as containing important research. Use our logo in your CV or on your website and links to your evaluations, and email info@f1000.com to apply for your 3-month complementary subscription.
